75g wholemeal flour
1 tsp baking powder
75g porridge oats
1 tbsp golden syrup
1 tbsp milk
Preheat the oven to 180C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
Sift all the flour into a bowl. Mix in the baking powder, porridge oats and sugar.
Melt the butter in the microwave for 1 minute and then mix in the syrup and milk.
Pour the butter mixture into the flour mixture and mix well.
Spoon onto a baking tray and shape into biscuits.
Bake in preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown. Leave to cool for 5 minutes and then remove them onto a cooling rack for at-least 10 minutes.
